We’re currently looking for a QHSE Manager to join on our Arla contract based in Hatfield. The role is responsible for deployment and management of all applicable vehicle/food compliance and health, safety and environmental policies. The QHSE Manager will be responsible for promoting a culture of health and safety within the Hatfield site.

Salary up to £40,000 depending upon experience. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and the option to buy additional days. Access to a variety of high street discounts and a cycle to work scheme. Workplace pension and many other perks.

Here’s What You’ll Get Up To:

  • Take ownership and accountability of vehicle and food safety compliance.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all HSE legislation and developments that affect the employer's industry, ensuring compliance and that ISO policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained.
  • Communicate XPO Logistics QHSE policy and strategy and raise awareness of QHSE legislation/issues by periodic attendance on site QHSE forums.
  • Work closely with the customer to ensure QHSE policy and strategy are aligned as well as work closely with Company solicitors with respect to claims and litigations.
  • Identify and agree the objectives to be achieved for HS.
