Do you like the idea of supporting the transport function on a brand-new key contract for one of the biggest, fastest-growing names in logistics? Are you ready for your next challenge? We’re looking for a Transport Coordinator to support on a 6 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave at our site in Mold.
Your role will be to co‑ordinate the transport operations of the depot in order to achieve business objectives and the needs of the customer. Working Monday to Friday core hours (with some flexibility – this is logistics after all).

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,750 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
- Ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Escalate details of vehicle accidents to line management.
- Record defected vehicles on traffic sheets.
- Follow procedure for damaged deliveries where necessary.
- Use all IT based systems in the effective delivery of the role including YMS, Sphere & WTS.
- Use appropriate communication methods to provide information to both internal and external customers as required (e.g., debrief of drivers, dealing with customer issues, etc.).
- Ensure all traffic planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety requirements, highlighting any concerns to line management.
- Conduct relevant QHSE activities: Care Cards, Bsafe, Safety Conversations, etc.
- Identify and highlight to management any potential improvement opportunities.
- Manage all third‑party contractors on site, including subcontractors, agency, and maintenance providers.
- Carry out resource planning for agency drivers.
- Conduct end‑of‑day checks, making sure all keys are securely stored.
- Enter timesheet data onto the Payroll spreadsheet.

- Previous experience within a transport / logistics organisation.
- Experience managing conflicting priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements.
- Effective customer service skills.

- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
