We are currently building a new team of drivers for our partnership with Kingspan at our depot in Holywell.
Pay, Benefits and More
- Salary: £31,467.49 per year.
- Working 4 on 4 off with 12‑hour shifts: Days 06:00‑18:00, Nights 18:00‑06:00.
- Bank holidays and Christmas off.
- 20 days holiday.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Safely drive our HGV Class 1 and shunt vehicles in a courteous manner.
- Cover shunting requirements on our customer’s site.
- Ensure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys.
- Operate the latest equipment to safety standards.
- Deliver Kingspan products safely.
- Undertake written pre‑shift checks of tugs, ensuring defects are logged.
- Keep tugs clean, tidy and wash weekly.
- Carry out all duties in compliance with XPO SSOWs.
- Complete daily XPO Trailer Movement log each shift, detailing all trailers moved.
- Refuel tugs at end of shift.
- Escalate any issues preventing trailer movement in a timely manner.
- Regularly inspect and use PPE.
- When not shunting, assist with meet and greet at trailer parks with change‑over drivers.
- Inspect empty trailers upon arrival and advise the team of any unprepped or unfit trailers.
- Use partial restraints (2× straps) for all unsecured movements of product.
- Act in accordance with all XPO policies.
- Notify your manager of any matters that could be detrimental to the welfare of the company.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably required by your manager.
What You Need to Succeed
- Valid LGV C+E licence.
- Up‑to‑date CPC and DIGI card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence.
