Do you want to be part of a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation supporting one of the biggest names in logistics and construction materials? We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our operation at Gotham MDC, supporting our customer British Gypsum / Saint‑Gobain.

You’ll play a key role in supervising the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, leading FLT drivers to ensure products are picked, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you’ll lead by example, maintain operational standards, and support the wider management team in delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role operates Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required.

Pay, Benefits and More

We offer a salary of up to £33,000 plus a shift allowance. We also provide 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with the option to purchase additional days. Additional benefits include high‑street discounts, a cycle‑to‑work scheme, workplace pension, and many other perks.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

  • Supervise the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, ensuring loads are picked, loaded, and dispatched safely and on time.
  • Support and coordinate FLT drivers and warehouse operatives across the shift.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with all site rules and procedures.
  • Drive loading efficiency and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Ensure hazards, near misses, spillages, incidents, and accidents are reported in line with company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider management team and key stakeholders.
  • Support team engagement, training, and performance management.
  • Assist with stock accuracy and inventory control using systems including SAP.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards throughout the warehouse.

What You Need to Succeed at XPO

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role within a fast‑paced operation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety, with experience promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Experience working with warehouse systems and stock management processes.
  • FLT awareness or experience operating MHE would be advantageous.
