This role is ideal for someone looking to build strong analytical skills while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through robust analysis and reporting. This role focuses on supporting improvement initiatives through detailed analysis, reporting, and insight generation. You will work closely with stakeholders to help inform decision‑making and enhance operational performance within the SGIS contract.

The salary on offer for this role is £35,000. We also offer 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a range of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other benefits.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Analysing operational and financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by providing data analysis and insight.
- Assisting with root cause analysis to help understand performance issues and inefficiencies.
- Preparing clear, concise summaries of findings for stakeholders.
- Maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards and Excel‑based reporting tools.
- Tracking key metrics, including costs versus budget, and highlighting any variances.
- Supporting the wider team with data gathering, analysis, and documentation for improvement activities.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Experience in a data, reporting, or analytical role (or strong analytical experience in an operational environment).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is advantageous.
- An interest in continuous improvement and using data to drive better business outcomes.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and understandable way.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A willingness to learn transport and warehouse systems and understand how data flows across the operation.
- Flexibility to occasionally travel to operational sites as required.
