We’re looking for a Backhaul & Interworks Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of an efficient, cost‑effective network. This role is focused on reducing empty running, coordinating daily activity and ensuring a high level of service is delivered to our customers. You’ll work closely with planning, site and customer service teams to ensure operations run smoothly and targets are achieved.

We’re offering a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to buy additional days. Other benefits include high‑street discounts, a salary sacrifice car scheme, a cycle‑to‑work scheme, a workplace pension and various other perks.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Liaise with backhaul customers to secure suitable loads and meet revenue targets
- Provide regular updates and ETAs to customers
- Manage POD returns and EPOD processes
- Support planning teams to ensure smooth network operation
- Work closely with site teams to ensure plans are executed correctly
- Maintain accurate load trackers and records
- Attend daily planning calls and resolve operational issues
- Proactively identify and prevent service failures
- Escalate any issues where required
- Complete invoicing for completed work
- Deliver clear communication internally and externally
- Analyse data and produce reports for customers
- Provide cover across the backhaul and interworks team when needed
