Logistics done differently. We’re looking for full‑time, permanent Warehouse operatives to join us at our site in Gloucester. Your journey may start off in a warehouse, but a whole new career could be in front of you from Management, Sales, Transport and more – it just takes the first step!
As a Night Warehouse Operative, you’ll be working in our busy warehouse facility, moving pallets, using MHE such as forklifts, loading and unloading vehicles. You’ll be working 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on the Monday to Friday night shift. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £14.89 including allowances. In addition, we offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days with 4 years service. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks as well as ongoing training.
We also have the XPO University offering relevant courses to your career progression as well as apprenticeships, giving you the ability to navigate your future logistics career with XPO.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day:
- Using MHE in a safe manner
- Operating FLT’s
- Loading and unloading our vehicles and storing goods in an organised manner
- Manual handling involving cages and larger items, so you must be happy to do the lifting and shifting!
What You Need To Succeed At XPO:
- Ideally an FLT licence
- A willingness to learn and build a new career
- An interest or previous experience in Warehousing
