Pay, Benefits And More
As a FLT Driver, you’ll be working in our busy warehouse facility, moving pallets, using MHE such as forklifts, loading and unloading vehicles. You’ll be working 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on the Monday to Friday day shift. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £13.42 with additional allowances available. In addition, we offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days with 4 years service. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks as well as ongoing training. We also have the XPO University offering relevant courses to your career progression as well as apprenticeships, giving you to navigate your future logistics career with XPO.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Using MHE in a safe manner
- Operating FLT’s
- Loading and unloading vehicles and storing goods in an organised manner
- There is a large amount of manual handling involving cages and larger items, so you must be happy to do the lifting and shifting!
