Logistics done differently. Our business is growing, and as such we are on the search for a career driven Operations Manager for Nights based at our site in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be an experienced people manager within a transport/logistics background. If this is you, we would love to show you this extremely exciting opportunity. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,500 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- To manage the performance of the operational teams on site across all shifts, and to ensure behavioural standards are met at all times.
- To monitor and ensure compliance with all XPO processes and policies.
- To lead a safety culture on site and actively participate in all QSHE meetings and initiatives.
- To foster an effective working relationship with all colleagues and representatives on site.
- To provide leadership and development opportunities for those colleagues that wish to further their career within XPO.
- To be accountable for service and operational expenditure across Transport & Warehouse functions.
