Logistics done differently. We’re currently recruiting for a Site Manager to head up our shared-user-network site. You’ll be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the Crick depot. We currently run 45 vehicles from the site, covering collections, deliveries and trunking. With a team of 80 drivers and 30 warehouse staff, you’ll ensure that we are constantly compliant and achieving customer KPIs in a timely manner across the 24/5 operation.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £70,000 per annum, a monthly car allowance and bonus. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Daily line management of your management team and supporting staff
- Driving KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives in order to achieve maximum productivity at site
- Report on delivery and trunk schedules and constantly review them to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure on-site compliance so all vehicles, people and equipment are operating in line with regulations and policy.
- Build and develop an effective management team for long term success
What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- An international CPC qualification is essential
- Experience managing vehicles within a pallet network and operating at Transport Manager level
- An effective understanding of budgets and P&L
- Experience managing a transport & warehouse contract within a closed book environment or general haulage
- Confidence in the use of IT
- The ability to communicate effectively with all customers and stakeholders
