We’re currently looking for a Regional QHSE Manager to join on our Saint‑Gobain contract in the Midlands / Yorkshire area. This is a full‑time, field based position, supporting three dedicated sites in Nottingham, Doncaster and Wakefield. We’re looking to offer a salary up to £50,000, depending upon experience, plus a car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support designated sites and the wider network to ensure full QHSE compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, support and advise on comprehensive incident investigations, ensuring effective actions are implemented and lessons learned are embedded.
  • Proactively engage with colleagues at all levels and key stakeholders to promote and continuously develop a positive safety culture.
  • Conduct, support and review required risk assessments, ensuring appropriate control measures are implemented and maintained.
  • Hold line management responsibility for an on‑site Operational Trainer.
  • Conduct regular trend analysis to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver QHSE training, coaching and ongoing support to drive competence and compliance.
  • Work closely with the customer to ensure QHSE policies, procedures and strategies are aligned.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QHSE management role or similar.
  • Strong knowledge and experience within logistics and warehousing, including relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Willing to travel with possible overnight stays.
