We’re looking for full‑time, permanent Class 1 Day Drivers to join us at our site in Gloucester.

Pay, Benefits and More

  • As a driver, you’ll be working on our day network routes, delivering to customer sites.
  • You’ll work a minimum of 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on Monday‑Friday on a day shift pattern.
  • Base rate £15.54 per hour with uplifts for later start times and overtime.
  • Allowances with overtime available after 40 hours per week at an enhanced rate.
  • 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days with 4 years service.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • These positions are permanent.
  • Multi‑drop deliveries.
  • Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards.
  • Start time – between 05:00 and 08:00 hrs (Monday – Friday Morning).
  • Safe use of tail lift and pallet trucks for sites where no FLT is available.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
  • ADR qualifications advantageous; if no ADR licence, training provided.
  • No more than six penalty points on licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • Valid CPC and digital Tacho card.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK road network.
