We’re looking for full‑time, permanent Class 1 Nights Drivers to join us at our site in Wigston.

Pay, Benefits and More

As a Driver, you’ll be delivering caged products to multiple customer branches overnight. You’ll be working a minimum of 45 hours (plus overtime) per week, the role is full‑time, and you will be working a Monday to Friday night shift pattern (19.30 start time). In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive salary of £37,757 per year. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Multi drop deliveries (rolling cages and moving pallets) to customer branches overnight.
  • Requires unlocking of the premises, delivering the cages into a certain place, loading any cages for onward.
  • Unloading via a tail lift.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to report any issues at delivery.
  • Diagnose, assess, and resolve problems or issues to best of your ability that may arise whilst on the road.
  • Full scanning using a handheld device of all delivery product.
  • Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • We’ll need you to have a full UK CE driving licence.
  • You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
