Logistics done differently. Our business is growing, and as such we are on the search for a career driven Operations Manager for Nights based at our site in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be an experienced people manager within a transport/logistics background. This is a high‑profile leadership role where you’ll shape the culture, drive performance, build strong customer relationships and ensure the site delivers safely, efficiently and in line with our contractual commitments. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,500 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- To manage the performance of the operational teams on site across all shifts, and to ensure behavioural standards are met at all times.
- To monitor and ensure compliance with all XPO processes and policies.
- To lead a safety culture on site and actively participate in all QSHE meetings and initiatives.
- To foster an effective working relationship with all colleagues and representatives on site.
- To provide leadership and development opportunities for those colleagues that wish to further their career within XPO.
- To be accountable for service and operational expenditure across Transport & Warehouse functions.
