Expertise have an urgent requirement for a Platform/Solutions Architect - OpenShift, Linux, IaC, Ansible, IDP. This role will be responsible for defining high-level architecture across the entire programme. A key focus will be designing and implementing OpenShift on-premise environments, progressing from virtualised infrastructure to bare metal, and ultimately towards hybrid deployment models.

Candidates will have the following essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Platform Architect or Solutions Architect on large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Red Hat OpenShift on-premise environments
  • Experience across VM-based and bare metal deployments
  • Proven experience in heavily on-premise infrastructure estates (Linux-based)
  • Experience designing for containerisation at scale
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and migration strategies
  • Experience working with:
    • Linux environments (VM & bare metal)
    • Docker/container technologies
    • GitLab (CI/CD pipelines)
    • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
    • Ansible (automation/configuration management)
    • Experience with Morpheus or similar self-service provisioning platforms
