Android Developer | Contract | Initial 3 months | Glasgow (1 day per week) | Inside IR35 This will be an initial 3 months with possibility to extend to March 2027.
What we're looking for: Strong commercial experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java Experience building applications using MVVM architecture Strong experience with Android Studio and Jetpack Compose Experience using Android Jetpack libraries, including Live Data , Navigation Component (Nav Graph) and local persistence solutions (eg Object Box ) Experience with Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming Experience integrating with REST APIs using tools such as Retrofit Experience using Git and Gradle Good understanding of the Google Play Store release process Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills We are ideally looking to speak to people who are able to travel to Glasgow once per week.
