Recruitment Consultant – Software Engineering

Location: Leeds (Hybrid after probation)

About the Role: A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Software Developer to join a growing IT Development team within a leading organisation delivering cutting-edge digital solutions. You\’ll play a key role in building, optimising, and maintaining modern web and cloud applications that directly support the company\’s digital strategy. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges, enjoys working across both front-end and back-end development, and wants to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring applications are performant, secure, and accessible for all users.
  • Design and manage APIs for internal and external applications, including versioning and backward compatibility.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (YAML) using Azure DevOps.
  • Contribute to the design and development of cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor colleagues, and promote best practices in software design and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuously explore and recommend new technologies to improve systems, performance, and delivery.
  • Proven experience with C# / .NET development.
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
