Are you an organised and proactive Project Coordinator looking to build your career in project management? Working alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts, and key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in coordinating projects, maintaining governance standards, supporting reporting, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects
  • Maintain project plans, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, and status reports
  • Organise project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track actions to completion
  • Produce project updates and governance documentation for stakeholders
  • Monitor project milestones, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Coordinate communication between project teams and business stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned activities, and governance standards
  • Assist with the adoption of new technology, automation tools, and AI-enabled ways of working

Requirements

  • Strong organisational, coordination, and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across different stakeholder groups
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Previous experience within a Project Coordinator, Project Support, PMO Administrator, or similar role
  • Experience working within financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management, or another regulated sector
  • Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or similar project delivery methodologies
  • Exposure to project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, Asana, or Trello, alongside reporting, automation, or AI productivity tools
  • Location: Sheffield
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on site.
  • Reporting To: Senior Project Manager
