An urgent requirement for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to join a major aviation organisation on a 6‑month contract, supporting enterprise‑scale ServiceNow service design and CMDB architecture. This is a hands‑on contract ServiceNow Architect role, focused on end‑to‑end service design, Dynamic CIs, workflow automation, and integration with observability platforms in a large, regulated aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities (ServiceNow Architect)
- Lead end‑to‑end service design within ServiceNow
- Own CMDB architecture, data modelling and service mapping
- Design and implement ServiceNow structures, workflows and automation
- Service design for product management and support workflows across hundreds of products
- Define service models for a platform‑based product delivery model
- Extensive use of Dynamic CIs for product discovery, association and dependency mapping
- Integrate ServiceNow with observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog)
- Work with cloud and platform teams using AWS and/or Confluent Cloud
- Provide architectural leadership to a hybrid onshore / offshore team
- Operate as a self‑sufficient ServiceNow contractor, driving outcomes end‑to‑end
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a hands‑on ServiceNow Architect (contract or permanent)
- Strong CMDB design, service modelling and Dynamic CI expertise
- Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow workflow automation and implementation
- Experience delivering enterprise‑scale service design in complex organisations
- Integration experience with monitoring / observability platforms (Datadog preferred)
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS and/or Confluent Cloud desirable)
- Experience working in regulated environments (aviation, transport, travel, financial services, etc.)
- Ability to lead and influence without direct line management
- Comfortable working inside IR35 contracts
