A well‑established financial services organisation in the East Midlands is looking to hire a Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist to join its growing Supplier Management function. This role sits at the heart of the third‑party lifecycle, covering sourcing, procurement and supplier management within a highly regulated environment. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to shape sourcing decisions, deliver commercial value and strengthen supplier relationships.

The role

  • Reporting into the Sourcing Lead, you will:
  • Act as a subject matter expert across sourcing and supply chain best practice
  • Deliver end‑to‑end sourcing activity, including RFI, RFP, negotiations and contract renewals
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, market options and supplier strategies
  • Support wider category activity and collaborate across the supplier management function
  • Develop market intelligence, benchmarking and external insight to inform sourcing decisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management and third‑party governance requirements
  • Support the development of a Sourcing Community of Practice
  • Manage third‑party supplier relationships where required, acting as the primary point of contact and owning governance, performance and risk

This is a varied role with exposure across multiple categories and the opportunity to broaden your experience across the full supplier lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Experience within a procurement, sourcing or supply chain function
  • Strong sourcing and commercial negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate flexibly across sourcing, supplier management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building capability
  • Strong attention to detail and appreciation of risk and compliance in a regulated environment
  • Experience managing supplier relationships with clear outcomes and value delivery
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
