About the role:
You’ll be immersed in a fast-paced and enthusiastic environment where every day is different, with plenty of opportunities for learning and growth. As a proactive, driven individual, you’ll be the first point of escalation for IT queries, supporting colleagues across the business while managing tickets through to completion. Working within a Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environment, you’ll maintain our IT hardware, software, and services, playing a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.
- To provide a broad range of technical support to 130+ users.
- Log and maintain an accurate record of support calls using the ITSM ticketing system.
- To provide practical help and assistance via phone, email, remote access or desk-side, escalating where needed.
- To ensure Anti-Virus software is maintained and up to date on all systems.
- Carry out patch management on all company devices using third-party software.
- Proactively support the business with daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly IT Maintenance tasks.
- On-board/off-board employees as required by the business.
- To plan for our hardware/software requirements to ensure continued availability.
- Manage hardware loan stock, ensuring laptops are always available if needed.
- Maintain stock levels of adapters, chargers, cables, etc.
- To work closely with the Head of IT/third-party providers to maintain the IT infrastructure.
- Build, maintain and develop relationships with all stakeholders within the business and our third-party providers.
- Support on non-IT facilities matters from time to time.
- Daily walk around of meeting rooms ensuring they are tidy of cables and IT accessories.
Required Experience:
- You are experienced in 1st and 2nd line IT support.
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Windows 11.
- Have an understanding of basic networking principles, including DNS & DHCP.
- Experienced in ITSM systems/solutions.
- You have an awareness of ITIL foundations.
- You have experience in Cyber Security.
- You thrive when helping others & have a passion for using your IT expertise to support colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- You take pride in finding efficient solutions, ensuring smooth operations by maintaining IT hardware, software, and infrastructure and handling tasks.
- Curiosity and pro-activity are a part of who you are.
