An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Director of Engineering to lead the creation and delivery of a brand-new product from concept through to market launch. This is a highly strategic role where you will work at the intersection of technology, product and commercial strategy, shaping a market-leading proposition with significant organisational investment behind it.
Joining a well-established organisation embarking on a major product transformation initiative, you will have the opportunity to operate with a start-up mindset while benefiting from the support, stability and resources of an established business. Working closely with a Product Director, you will define the product roadmap, lead technical delivery and build the engineering capability required to bring a new product to market within the next 18 months.

- Experience leading engineering teams within fintech, financial services or highly regulated environments
- Exposure to scaling engineering functions from small teams to larger delivery organisations
- Experience working within both established corporate environments and high-growth product initiatives

This is a rare opportunity to join a strategically important programme and take ownership of a new product initiative with significant investment and visibility. The engineering team will initially be small, with plans to scale from approximately 8-10 people to around 50, leveraging AI-driven delivery approaches rather than traditional headcount growth.
