We’re recruiting for a Test Engineering Manager for a newly formed Engineering team within a niche financial services organization. This high-impact role owns the end-to-end test automation suite and drives a quality-first culture across the organization. You’ll combine hands-on test automation development with strategic leadership, shaping the overall test strategy and driving a quality-first culture across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all testing activities for projects, transformations, and BAU.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for SaaS products, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Influence tool selection and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, integration).
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to define quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and shift-left testing practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in test leadership and management, including process improvements.
- Hands-on experience developing automated test frameworks for APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Xray, Playwright, Pytest, Pywinauto.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data validation, and CI/CD integration (GitHub).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP preferred).
- Understanding of security and performance testing methodologies.
- Bonus: Exposure to machine learning pipelines and testing data models.
