The predicted salary is between 30000 - 36000 £ per year.

  • IT Administrator (1st - 1.5 Line with a chance to progress to 2nd Line)
  • Castle Donington (5 days per week in the office)

To provide reliable, day‑to‑day IT support across the business, ensuring systems, devices, and users operate efficiently.

The role will support the IT Manager by handling operational IT tasks and contributing to system stability and performance.

This is also an opportunity for someone with good first line experience, to work at 1.5 line level and gain experience and work up towards 2nd line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to all users
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets within agreed SLAs

• Administer core systems including

  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Email, file storage, and user access

• Provision and maintain

  • User accounts and permissions
  • Support network infrastructure (Wi‑Fi, printers, connectivity)
  • Assist with IT projects and system implementations
  • Monitor system performance and escalate issues where needed
  • Maintain IT documentation and asset registers
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and best practice

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in IT support or similar role

• Good knowledge of

  • Windows OS
  • Microsoft 365
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Experience with networking fundamentals
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e. g. Business Central)
  • IT certifications (e. g. Comp TIA, Microsoft)
  • Power BI
