As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. You'll act as a technical authority, guiding engineering practices and contributing to strategic outcomes across teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead backend development initiatives and mentor engineers to ensure best practices.
  • Design and implement REST-based microservices with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing systems.
  • Promote continuous improvement in processes, culture, and technical standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Expertise in Backend Development: Minimum 4 years on large-scale commercial projects.
  • TypeScript: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience.
  • REST Microservices: Proven track record in designing and implementing microservice architectures.
  • Solid understanding of clean code principles, layered architectures, and TDD.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git/Git Flow, and agile methodologies.
  • Nice to Have: React and React Native experience.
  • Exposure to regulatory environments or compliance-driven projects.
