We’re looking for full stack engineers, at any experience level, who want to build AI products that change how a massive industry works. You’ll ship features across the entire stack, from the Python services that orchestrate AI agents to the React interfaces that put those insights into the customer’s hands. They're a small, senior team today. You’ll work directly with the founding team and have real ownership over what you build. They don’t have all the answers on how to best solve these problems: they’re hoping you can help us figure it out!

Our client builds AI systems for commercial insurance, one of the most complex document-heavy workflows in any industry. Every process can involve hundreds or thousands of unstructured documents (PDFs, images, emails, legal filings), tangled timelines, and regulatory requirements that vary by jurisdiction. Traditional automation has never been able to handle this. They think multi-agent AI can. Their platform processes these workflows end-to-end: reading and reasoning across documents, constructing timelines, mapping entity relationships, and making decisions that satisfy strict regulatory rules, all at production scale for enterprise customers. It’s a $9T global industry, and they’re just getting started.

Experience Required

  • Experience with web frameworks. React on the frontend, FastAPI or Django on the backend.
  • Solid database skills. PostgreSQL preferred. You can design a schema, write a query that doesn’t make the DBA cry, and think about data modeling.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. They’re building in a space where the right answer isn’t always obvious. You should be energised, not paralysed, by that.
  • Clear, direct communication. Everyone talks to everyone. You should be able to explain a technical decision to a non-technical person without being condescending!
  • Monitoring: Logging, metrics, distributed tracing.
