I'm looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to take hands‑on ownership of day‑to‑day social and content execution for a consumer‑facing digital brand. This role sits at the centre of brand, content, and social delivery, acting as the internal guardian of tone, quality, and consistency across all organic output. This is not a strategy or agency‑management‑only role. It's about owning execution, protecting the brand, and making sure what goes out into market is accurate, on‑brand, and aligned to wider campaigns across email, app, PR, and website. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, taking responsibility for delivery while larger strategy and planning sits elsewhere.

Responsibilities

  • Own the execution of the approved organic social content calendar
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms using Sprout
  • Act as the internal approval point for all organic social content
  • Ensure brand safety, accuracy, and tone of voice across all social output
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align social content with campaigns, email, app and PR activity
  • Monitor social performance at a high level and flag risks, issues, or opportunities
  • Track competitor activity and trends to inform day‑to‑day content decisions
  • Short‑form video & UGC
  • Create short‑form, UGC‑style video and image content in‑house
  • Support agency‑led campaigns with complementary internal content
  • Maintain a clear, organised content and asset library
  • Ensure all imagery and video meets brand, legal, and platform guidelines
  • Content & assets
  • Adapt and repurpose agency‑created content for owned channels
  • Create supporting content and assets for launches and campaigns
  • Work closely with brand and design teams to maintain consistency
  • Ensure content feels joined‑up across social, website, email, and app
  • Influencer & UGC coordination
  • Act as the internal point of contact for influencer and UGC activity
  • Review and approve influencer content for brand fit and accuracy
  • Coordinate approvals, usage rights, and internal sharing of UGC assets
  • Maintain visibility of where and how UGC is being used
  • Blogs & website content
  • Upload and manage blog content via CMS
  • Ensure SEO briefs are followed and content remains accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate approvals between internal teams and agency writers
  • Maintain overall content hygiene across the website
  • Support content population and migration for a new website
  • Write blog and website content where required
  • Paid social & partnerships (supporting role)
  • Support paid social activity through creative adaptation and asset delivery
  • Review paid social creative for brand alignment
  • Support partnerships and events with relevant content amplification

Experience / What you bring

  • Hands‑on experience managing organic social and content execution
  • Strong understanding of brand, tone of voice, and content governance
  • Confident producing short‑form video and UGC‑style content
  • Comfortable working with agencies while owning internal delivery
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and approval flows
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, social scheduling tools, and SEO briefs
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of brand protection and quality control
