We\’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to help build and support the cloud infrastructure behind a rapidly growing technology platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, automating systems, and working collaboratively across development and operations teams.
You\’ll play a central part in maintaining secure, scalable environments that power business-critical applications, with plenty of opportunity to influence technical direction and drive improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage robust infrastructure using AWS services
Deploy, maintain, and scale containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates using Terraform
Manage message queuing systems with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability and performance
Support CI/CD pipelines and work with developers to streamline deployments
Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis
Maintain security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud platforms
Continuously evaluate and optimise infrastructure for performance and cost
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Hands-on expertise with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and modern development workflows
Experience implementing monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Solid grasp of cloud security, IAM, and best practices for operational excellence
Proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ideally within Agile teams
