Data Management Manager role at Xpertise Recruitment. I’m supporting a well-established organisation in the housing sector who are recruiting for a Data Management Manager.

They’re seeking someone who has built and embedded data glossaries, dictionaries, metadata frameworks, and led the development of data governance structures, not just someone with data quality experience. There is a low maturity environment and they are looking for someone who can establish and take ownership of their Data Management / Governance and build frameworks effectively.

Key Requirements

  • Strong background in data governance and data management frameworks
  • Ability to design and implement structured approaches to managing data assets
  • Experience in building frameworks from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
  • Broader understanding beyond data quality, focus on strategic data structuring and governance
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data cataloging tools and governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation)
  • Proven experience in establishing and embedding: Data Glossaries, Data Dictionaries and MetaData Frameworks

Nice to have (Not essential)

  • Someone who has worked in Regulated environments
  • Experience working with Data in CRM

Salary & Location

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
