We are hiring for X3 Data Analysts to support a high-profile public sector transformation programme. This role sits within a dedicated transformation function acting as an internal consultancy, tasked with redesigning services and operating models to deliver better outcomes for residents and improved efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data-led insights to support the design and implementation of new operating models
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive informed decision-making
  • Prepare dashboards, presentations, and reports for a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Coach non-technical colleagues on data use and interpretation
  • Support the development of internal data capability and analytics maturity

Essential Experience:

  • Strong background in data analysis within local government or public services
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and preferably Python or R
  • Understanding of public sector data systems, governance, and local government datasets
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a collaborative environment

Desirable:

  • Experience with cost-to-serve models or financial analysis
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based data platforms
