Birmingham (Tuesday and Wednesday in the office) 55k
Key responsibilities:
- Providing L3 support across the breadth of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, Azure DevOps, Azure security.
- Build, maintain and implement Infrastructure as code using Terraform to align with evolving business requirements in an efficient way.
- Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps, Azure Functions or other tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability and reliability issues.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met using Azure policies, roles and permissions.
- Design, maintain and enhance a portfolio of Terraform scripts to align with evolving business requirements.
- Implement Azure infrastructure and services in line with designs, standards, and guidance set by the Azure & Infrastructure Team Leader.
- Member of an On-Call Rota for out-of-hours P1 major incident.
Skills and experience:
- The ideal candidate would have hands-on commercial experience as an Azure administrator or engineer, ideally in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Management, Terraform Containers, Private Endpoints, Azure networking (VNets, VPN, peering, private endpoints), Azure compute and storage services.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Center, or Azure Key Vault.
- Certification in Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.
