As the DevOps Engineer, you will help build and support the cloud infrastructure behind a rapidly growing technology platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, automating systems, and working collaboratively across development and operations teams.
You’ll play a central part in maintaining secure, scalable environments that power business-critical applications, with plenty of opportunity to influence technical direction and drive improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage robust infrastructure using AWS services
- Deploy, maintain, and scale containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates using Terraform
- Manage message queuing systems with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
- Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability and performance
- Support CI/CD pipelines and work with developers to streamline deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Maintain security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud platforms
- Continuously evaluate and optimise infrastructure for performance and cost
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and modern development workflows
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Solid grasp of cloud security, IAM, and best practices for operational excellence
- Proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ideally within Agile teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
