Xpertise Recruitment is seeking an experienced Principal Software Test Engineer to lead testing efforts and ensure product quality across multiple agile teams in a technical, Microsoft environment. This role is key in defining and enhancing QA processes, leading automation initiatives, and mentoring QA engineers, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 1 day a month in their East Midlands office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts across multiple agile teams, providing technical authority and mentorship.
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, both manual and automated.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product management to align testing with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, test environments, and release strategies.
- Present testing results and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in a technical, C#.Net environment
- Extensive experience in QA leadership, with a strong grasp of QA processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (C#, Selenium, SpecFlow, ReadyAPI or similar)
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and mentor others.
- Expertise in root cause analysis and quality standards enforcement.
- Experience in agile environments and a background in working with remote, multi-disciplined teams.
