We’re currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Reading.
The role will focus on managing supplier quality performance, resolving quality issues and working with suppliers to improve processes and product quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor supplier quality performance
- Investigate supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions
- Conduct supplier audits and support supplier development
- Review supplier quality documentation and technical requirements
- Work closely with procurement, engineering and manufacturing teams
- Support continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering role
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of quality tools and problem-solving techniques
- Experience with supplier audits and corrective actions
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
