For one of our clients, a fast-growing technology scale-up based in London, we are looking for a Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures that support the company's continued growth across Europe.

This is a strategic, hands-on role for an experienced security professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing architecture decisions, and helping engineering teams build secure-by-design cloud platforms.

You'll work closely with engineering, platform, DevOps, and product teams to define security standards, strengthen cloud infrastructure, and ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

7+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Security Architecture, DevSecOps, or Platform Security

  • Strong experience designing secure AWS or Azure environments
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container security, and cloud-native architectures
  • Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, and cloud security best practices
  • Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST
  • Kubernetes security and admission control tools
  • Security automation and policy-as-code solutions
  • Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or CCSP
  • Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading security architecture initiatives
