Installer in Ely

Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for 2 reliable and motivated Installers to join a well-established business based in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for practical and hardworking individuals to join a busy Installation Team, travelling across the UK alongside an experienced member of staff to complete installations. If you are hands-on, willing to travel and looking for a role where you can develop your installation skills, we'd love to hear from you. Duties will include: · Travel throughout the UK as part of a 2-person installation team · Complete installation work at various store locations · Use basic hand tools safely and effectively · Work approximately 5–6 hours per day carrying out installation work · Travel approximately 3–4 hours per day in company transport · Load and unload company vans, particularly on Fridays · Assist with preparing tools, equipment and materials for installations · Work professionally and respectfully within store environments · Follow all company Health & Safety procedures · Wear appropriate PPE, including safety boots · Maintain a clean, professional and respectful appearance and attitude at all times Skills/Experience · Basic understanding and experience of using hand tools · Practical and hands-on approach to work · Previous installation or manual work experience would be advantageous but is not essential · Willingness to travel and stay away from home 3–4 nights per week · Ability to work long days and travel across the UK · Reliable, punctual and hardworking · Good communication skills · Ability to work effectively as part of a team · Professional and respectful attitude when working around members of the public and store staff · Safety boots required · Full UK driving licence is not required, as driving will be carried out by another member of the installation team Working arrangements: 3–4 nights away per week travelling throughout the UK 5–6 hours installation work per day 3–4 hours travelling per day in company transport Fridays will involve loading and unloading company vans Benefits: All accommodation costs paid for by the company All food costs paid for by the company when working away Company transport provided Training and support provided Opportunity to develop installation skills and experience Start Date: 26 August 2026 If you have not received a response within 5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
