Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Installation Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Cambridgeshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company specialising in the installation of high quality industrial and commercial door systems.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing training, and long-term career progression.

Duties will include

  • Installing a range of industrial and commercial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, steel doors, and fire doors
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and replacement of door systems where required
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans
  • Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Using power tools and specialist equipment safely and effectively
  • Completing site paperwork and installation reports accurately
  • Providing excellent customer service while working on client sites
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations
  • Travelling to customer sites across the region with occasional overnight stays if required

Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience installing industrial, commercial, or automatic doors
  • Mechanical or electrical installation experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • CSCS Card desirable but not essential
  • IPAF or PASMA certification would be advantageous
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week with overtime available
