We're working with an established and growing engineering and manufacturing business that designs and manufactures bespoke industrial equipment for customers across a range of sectors, including aerospace, automotive and advanced manufacturing.
They're now looking for a Sales Executive to join their team – and this is a great opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, confident with customers and keen to develop a career within technical sales.
Job overview
This is a varied role combining sales, customer relationship management, business development and marketing.
Working alongside an experienced sales and engineering team, you'll help turn enquiries and opportunities into successful projects while building strong relationships with customers.
You'll be responsible for:
- Responding to and qualifying incoming customer enquiries
- Supporting the preparation of quotations and proposals
- Following up quotations and developing sales opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Managing opportunities and customer information through the CRM
- Identifying new prospects and potential xgikmsk business opportunities
- Supporting proactive business development activity
- Working closely with the engineering team to understand customer requirements
- Supporting website, LinkedIn and wider marketing activity
- Creating case studies, marketing content and promotional materials
