Permanent position, Monday - Friday, 38.5 hours between 8.30am - 7pm  / 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm in Stoke on Trent. Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + uncapped commission.
As a Sales Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of sales advisors, ensuring both individual and team targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the team, supporting performance, coaching individuals, and working closely with senior management to ensure operational success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Monitoring performance and delivering regular coaching and feedback
- Supporting compliance, quality and regulatory standards (FCA / TCF)
- Conducting 1:1s, monthly reviews and ongoing development plans
- Assisting with rota planning, workflow and call management
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
- Acting as a role model for professionalism and customer service
Desired skills and experience:
- Confident and driven leader who can bring out the best in others while maintaining high standards and a positive team culture
- Previous experience within insurance (essential)
- Experience in a leadership, supervisory or senior sales role
- Strong understanding of compliance, FCA guidelines and TCF
- A proven track record of managing performance and achieving results
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate
- A proactive, organised and professional approach
