We're working with a well-established, independently owned insurance broker looking to appoint a Motor Trade Account Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with motor trade / commercial insurance experience to take ownership of a portfolio, combining new business, renewals and client relationship management with the autonomy of an office and field-based role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing new business enquiries (inbound & outbound)
  • Conducting detailed fact-finds and presenting tailored insurance solutions
  • Handling mid-term adjustments (MTAs) accurately and efficiently
  • Managing the full renewal process, including re-marketing where required
  • Ensuring all activity aligns with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty
  • Building strong relationships through client visits, field appointments and networking
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to MI and business insights

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience within motor trade or commercial insurance (road risk and/or combined policies)
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • A professional and confident communication style
  • Good attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • Working knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty
  • A proactive, resilient and customer-first approach

In return:

  • £27,500 - £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped commission with realistic £50k-£60k OTE
  • Monday to Friday working (no weekends)
