Nesting Engineer

We\’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, who are looking to add an experienced Nesting Engineer to their growing team. The Role As a Nesting Engineer, you\’ll be responsible for producing accurate and efficient nests to support laser and profiling operations, helping to optimise material usage and improve production efficiency. Working Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm & Friday, 7am to 1pm Key Responsibilities: Creating nests for laser / profiling machines using CAD/CAM software Optimising material utilisation and reducing waste Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Working closely with production and engineering teams Maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement What We\’re Looking For: Previous experience in a Nesting Engineer or similar role Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM and nesting software Ability to read and understand technical drawings A detail-focused, organised approach Experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment What\’s on Offer: Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable employer Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real impact within the production process Please contact Xpert Recruitment\’s Industrial Team if interested in this role.
