Permanent - 8am - 4.30pm Stoke on Trent with national client site travel

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to take the next step into a senior, leadership-focused role? We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Consultant & Manager to join a growing, dynamic consultancy delivering top-tier H&S services to a diverse range of clients. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with leadership skills to manage a team of consultants while providing outstanding health and safety guidance to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of consultants, overseeing workloads, diaries, appraisals, absences, and disciplinary matters. Ensure smooth operational management, including holiday requests and team reporting.
- Client-Facing Consultancy: Deliver high-level H&S consultancy, audits, and compliance support to clients. Advise clients on regulatory requirements, industry-specific health and safety issues, and best practices. Provide CDM support, coordinating duties for all relevant stakeholders. Develop, implement, and maintain bespoke safety management systems for clients. Conduct audits and produce clear, actionable reports, ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively. Deliver engaging health and safety training, workshops, and awareness sessions tailored to client needs.
- Proven experience in health and safety consultancy and management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Lead and shape a dedicated team of H&S professionals.
- Work with a wide range of clients across different sectors, making a tangible impact on their safety culture.
