We're partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a senior leader into their payroll function. This is a high-impact role within the senior leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence across payroll systems, reporting, and support services. You'll play a critical role in enhancing payroll performance, improving processes, and enabling the wider payroll business to achieve its commercial and operational objectives.
This role can be based in Stockport, Portsmouth or Glasgow. There will be regular travel to all of these sites for anyone in post.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Payroll Services, you will lead a specialist team delivering payroll systems support, third-party system integration, and management information (MI) across a large, multi-site payroll operation. This role is focused on continuous improvement, commercial performance, and scalable processes, ensuring the payroll function operates efficiently, profitably, and with best-in-class systems and reporting.
