Xpert Recruitment Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a permanent position within a busy warehouse and production environment.
Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence and be confident carrying out a variety of warehouse and forklift duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for a permanent role with a 40-hour weekly contract.
Shift Pattern
The role operates on the following shift pattern:
- Saturday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
- Night shifts: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM on Monday and Tuesday, or Wednesday and Thursday.
Contract: 40 hours per week.
Please note that the night shift days will be either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Stacking and moving stock within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading goods from production areas.
- Loading products onto MAV.
- Picking orders and handling materials as required.
- Moving stock and materials between warehouse and production areas.
- Supporting the smooth running of warehouse and production operations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- A valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is desirable.
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift safely.
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work the specified shift pattern.
- A flexible and proactive approach to warehouse duties.
