We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our to client dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of powder coating processes and techniques, along with the ability to fabricate, assemble, and paint various components.
This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools within a warehouse environment.
- Working Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, with an early finish on Friday's
- Immediate interviews and starts available
- Up to £13.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or grinding as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment, ensuring proper application of coatings to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Fabricate and assemble parts as required for various projects.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process, making adjustments as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in powder coating
- Familiarity with basic maths for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, particularly with mechanical assembly or welding tasks.
