We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Design Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and modelling of buildings and producing full energy reports alongside our existing designers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about thermal modelling, heat pumps, hydraulic design, ventilation and more.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with schematics development and technical documentation standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
  • A recognised qualification in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
