A vibrant two-form entry primary school located in Tower Hamlets is looking for a qualified Year 4 Primary Teacher who is available for January 2017. Initially, this position will be a Long Term contract; however, the school is open to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • Year 4 classroom teaching role
  • Shared planning with another Year 4 teacher
  • Full-time contract to start January 2017
  • Average class size of 26 students, with each class supported by at least 1 teaching assistant
  • Competitive rate of pay depending on experience in line with AWR (starting from £150 per day)

About You:

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, with a clear passion for working with children and for affecting positive change in the lives of young people. You must also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa if necessary)
  • Be qualified to teach Primary aged students (Secondary trained teachers will also be considered)
  • Have proven experience teaching the KS2 Curriculum; the ideal candidate will have previous Year 4 teaching experience; however, this is not essential but is desirable
  • This opportunity is also open to overseas-trained teachers.
