The People Advisor will play a critical role in working closely with the People Director and People Operations Manager to build upon and develop key people practices and processes established in the organisation, helping us to shape and execute upon our people strategy. As a team, we collaborate in providing support to our sites in Lisburn, N. Ireland, Bury St. Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, London, Gloucester, Banbury and Glasgow as well as a number of homeworkers totalling a headcount of approx. 260. This role will draw on your past successes and experience of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, HR systems development, employee relations, people metrics and reporting whilst being instrumental in supporting a values-based high-performance culture. The role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious HR Officer/Advisor to grow their experience and skills through involvement in some exciting strategic projects that will add value for our people in a dynamic and growing organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to make real impact, working with a range of stakeholders at all levels, supporting the business to drive commercial value through our people. As we want to identify only the best talent to join our team, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work from home on a hybrid basis, whilst being within a commutable distance of Bury St. Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, and Central London. Infrequent travel to Northern Ireland, Banbury & Gloucester may also be required to meet the needs of the role.
Job Responsibilities
- First point of contact for employees and managers across all locations for generalist HR related queries.
- Actively contribute to the development of our HRIS (HiBob) to maximise the system's capability, maintaining data integrity and process efficiency whilst driving adoption across the business.
- Co-ordination of end-to-end resourcing and onboarding processes, partnering with hiring managers to create an exceptional candidate experience.
- Maintain external employer brand focus to develop talent pipelines (social media, content creation, alumni network, relationships with external agencies).
- Provide HR support in employee relations issues such as absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance management etc., proactively providing advice and guidance to line managers.
- Support employee engagement programmes including employee committees.
- Contribute to all aspects of HR administration, benefits administration and payroll reporting.
- Develop and prepare HR information and reports utilising HiBob.
- Support the co-ordination of M & A activities, including reviewing and aligning employee benefits and terms and conditions.
- Leads the delivery of induction sessions to ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new employees.
- Provide coaching, training and upskilling opportunities to support managers in effectively leading their teams.

Experience Required
- Third level qualification in a HR or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a HR advisory capacity supporting line managers and employees with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in recruitment, selection and onboarding, HR systems, employee engagement and employee relations.
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to build, maintain and interpret Excel-based reports to support decision making.
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to travel to NI/GB as required.
- Ability to live and work in the UK without Visa sponsorship.
- Previous experience of using HiBob modules including Core, Talent and Hiring.
- Have obtained or are working towards CIPD Level 5 Associate Membership.
- Previous experience in an IT/Professional Services organisation.
