    • Provide practical, commercially focused advice to line managers on handling ER issues confidently and consistently, navigating risk vs. business outcomes, whilst ensuring we are acting fairly and reasonably, managing people performance and company-aligned behaviours.
    • Develop practical toolkits, playbooks, and scripts to improve confidence and consistency.
  • Data, Insight & Continuous Improvement
    • Own ER data capture and reporting (case volumes, themes, outcomes, timelines).
    • Generate actionable insight to inform People strategy, highlight systemic issues (e.g., leadership capability, culture hotspots).
  • Process & Systems Optimisation (Closing Current Gaps)
    • Establish a centralised case management approach where absent or inconsistent today.
    • Define clear case triage criteria, ownership boundaries (1st Line vs People Partner vs manager vs Director), SLAs and service standards.
    • Leverage technology and AI to support case triage and prioritisation, standardise documentation, reduce administrative burden.
  • Policy Alignment & Practical Application
    • Ensure policies are clear, usable, and aligned with real-life scenarios and case trends.
    • Identify gaps between policy and practice, and work with P&C leadership to close them.
