Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Consultant Engineering to join our team as an ERP Implementation Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with construction clients to:
- Understand commercial workflows
- Translate business requirements into ERP configurations
- Implement QS & commercial modules
- Drive successful system adoption post go-live
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & Consulting
- Implement modules covering:
- Quantity Surveying (QS)
- Cost Control & Budgeting
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
- Estimation & Tendering
- Procurement & Subcontract Management
- Contracts & Commercial Management
- CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation)
- Conduct requirement gathering, process mapping & gap analysis
- Configure workflows aligned to client business models
- Support data migration (BOQs, cost codes, contracts, budgets, CVR, etc.)
Client Engagement & Training
- Work with QS teams, commercial heads & project stakeholders
- Deliver training on:
- QS modules
- CVR reporting & dashboards
- Cost tracking & variance analysis
- Support UAT, enhancements & change requests
Project Delivery & Support
- Manage timelines, milestones & deliverables
- Identify risks (especially cost & CVR-related)
- Ensure successful go-live and adoption
- Provide post-go-live support & process optimization
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in ERP Implementation
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cost estimation, budgeting & financial reporting
- Tendering & contract administration
- Understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC)
- Experience working in construction/civil engineering projects
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management & communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with construction ERP systems (Xpedeon, COINS, Sage, etc.)
- Strong understanding of:
- CVR (Cost vs Value Reconciliation)
- Project financial lifecycle
- Revenue recognition & forecasting
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering
- IT / Computer Science / Business Administration
- RICS-accredited qualification preferred
- Postgraduate QS conversion courses also accepted
